One of the advantages of participating in the Clarksburg Sports Club's Summer Sports Tournament 2019.

A community to get together and a community to come together to play some sports.
“How many times did we feel like playing a game, say a game of tennis, and have a hard time finding a partner to play!”
I used to be in the same situation. I used to coordinate with the people I know that play the game and find out a mutual convenient time, which was becoming highly unlikely, considering the situation with kid(s) schedules and respective work schedules.
CSC 2019 to the rescue
Then came Clarksburg Sports Club (CSC) and their Annual Sports Events. CSC was extensively using WhatsApp groups for its communication. Initially it was a little overwhelming to interact socially. Let me be a little honest here, I am not much of a "Face Book" kind of a guy, I would rather say I am more of an instant messenger kind.
“No more hey do you want to play?”
Due to weather, scheduling and other operational delays, their Tennis Tournament ran for more than a month. During that time, I was able to interact and play tennis with many players, most of them were better than me. This not only helped me improve my game, but also eliminated the need to ask the dreadful question "Hey do you want to play?"
"Easy peasy with WhatsApp!"
It was very easy to find a partner. Most of the time I was just responding to someone looking for a player. It was very rare that I had to post a similar message. To cut the story short, though my run in the tennis tournament was short lived, but the amount of practice and play time I got from the tennis event and the number of friends I met during the season was just awesome. It is nice to be a part of a socially vibrant community.
